All dogs in the county over 4 months of age need a dog license. Our office issues dog licenses to all township and city treasurers to sell from December 1st to February 28th of each year. The county treasurer's office sells licenses all year. We can only sell to persons that have a valid rabies certificate for their dog, from a veterinarian. The cost of a dog license is as follows:

If dogs are found and have a dog license tag on, we can locate the owner by the number on the tag.
